Heliodyne released this month video footage of hail impact testing done on its GOBI line of solar flat plate collectors. The footage disproves myths that solar collector glass can easily be destroyed in severe weather. Watch the full video here. SOLAR FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY CALCULATOR To aid installers and designers when it comes to estimating the financial viability of larger commercial scale solar thermal projects, Heliodyne has designed a useful financial feasibility calculator. The tool takes various input from the solar system designer and calculates vital estimates such as ROI, carbon dioxide displacement and payback period. The financial feasibility calculator can be downloaded for free on the Heliodyne website. HELIODYNE LAUNCHES A NEW WEBSITE FOR ITS LINE OF SOLAR THERMAL CONTROLLERS A new website is up and running which will address all things related to the Heliodyne Delta T series of controllers. At deltatcontrols.com, Not only will visitors be able to download manuals, specs, and “how to” videos but they will also be able to purchase the solar thermal controllers and its accessories via the website. SOLAR HOT WATER SPECIFICATION PROGRAM NOW AVAILABLE The specification website ARCAT, has been further updated with Heliodyne technical information. A Spec Wizard is now available which makes specifying Heliodyne even easier. According to ARCAT “Spec Wizard guides you through the selecting and configuring of a building product. It then assembles a specification in the CSI 3-part Format, based on the decisions you made when selecting and configuring the product. You can then download the specification for your project and your office master.” |
