FREE ONLINE ENERGY PERFORMANCE TOOL
A new solar energy calculator is now available online. With just a few inputs, this free tool generates accurate energy performance estimations on a new residential SHW project. The installer just has to enter some basic variables such as zip code, roof pitch, and number of collectors in order to get the results calculated. The energy calculator is a quick and simple method of demonstrating to the home owner the potential benefits of a Heliodyne system and thus makes an excellent sales tool.
CONSUMER REPORTS TESTS AND REVIEWS A HELIODYNE RESIDENTIAL SYSTEM
In the latest issue, Consumer Reports published it's year long study on a select group of solar water heating systems. A Heliodyne 2 collector closed loop system was included as part of the testing. The findings of the study concluded that a Heliodyne system significantly lowers energy costs and produces what the article mentions as “stellar savings.” Pick up a copy of this month’s Consumer Reports magazine to read the full story.

Heliodyne recently interviewed a solar thermal and PV installer to get his feedback on the Heliodyne brand. The installer has 2 decades of residential and commercial solar installation experience. SYSTEM INSTALLATION SPOTLIGHT
Plumbing supply wholesaler Ferguson Enterprises recently donated a Heliodyne residential system to Habitat For Humanity for a new home build. The single collector closed loop system utilized the Helio-Pak heat transfer appliance with built-in advanced controller for remote system monitoring. SOLAR POWER INTERNATIONAL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER
Heliodyne will once again be exhibiting at Solar Power International held this October in Los Angeles. Booth visitors can view the entire product line including the new HCOM commercial heat transfer appliance as well as the newly redesigned GOBI collector. Visitors can also try out the all-new monitoring app available on Apple iPhone and iPad products. Heliodyne training manager, Bob Cooley will also be on hand demonstrating a complete residential system installation every hour at the Heliodyne booth #4301.
